When I came here in the US, I left behind everything and brought only happy memories and experiences with me. It was a tough decision but I got to do what I got to do.

When I came here in the US, the one thing that keeps me going is my connection with the people I love whom I left behind. I constantly in contact with them so I would always feel that I am home.

When I came here in the US, reconnecting is a big thing for me. I need to let them know what's going on with my life here and what's going on with theirs. And regular emails and chat doesn't give justice to what I truly feel. I need to write them and send them "snail mails" to enclose photos or sometimes send them stuff that they like.
