one snowy springtime morning

I woke up to another snowy morning.
It is still cold and chilly.
So why am I ranting?
Because, it's already SPRINGTIME!

And since it snowed all night, the snow bank is still higher than me.
The driveway needs to be plowed.
The pathway needs to be snow-blown.

But it is already springtime.
So, I want to see the flowers blooming.

Spring is here now.
So I want to see the grass turning green.

It is now the season for spring.
So I want to start my garden.

But since it is still snowing outside.
And the snowbank is still hard and packed.

I guess, hubby and I will be ice-fishing a lot more this time.
Because this is springtime...
but the snow is here to stay for a while.
