We always recognize the sacrifices of our Veterans. We always celebrate their victories as our own. And we always pray that they will continue to fight for our freedom. These are just some of the reasons why we have holidays like Memorial Day and 4th of July. Come to think of it freedom is not free. If it is a commodity it will surely have a hefty price tag on it.

But despite the sacrifices that our Veterans have done for our country it is sad that they are neglected in our society. They came home from wars and found themselves disabled and homeless.

That is why “Donate Your Car – Support our Veterans”, an online non-profit organization is asking your generous help to support our Purple Heart War Veterans through car donations. If you donate car you are helping to raise funds for the Veterans. All vehicle donations will be used to provide food, shelter and clothing to Purple Heart and Disabled American Veterans and to all the men and women who courageously served our country and put their lives in peril so we can live peacefully.

It is not enough to recognize their sacrifices through celebration of the holidays with cookouts and barbecue. They need more than one day of celebration. The Veterans are our unsung heroes who selflessly take care of our freedom. It is now our duty to take care of them.
