My Liliw... Fast pacing into the Future

When something is good…something has to be done to its advantage. And when something really good will benefit a lot of people… a lot should be attained for something to be significant. Be that as it may, mayor JP believes that a huge…gigantic tsinelas made through the combined effort of the best “magtsitsinelas” (slipper-makers) we have around many not only put our already highly regarded town in the Guinness Book of World Record, but will showcase the people’s veritable and unparalleled ingenuity and deftness in slipper making. This one big real leap may be considered as crucial in their ever growing and flourishing venture. And this dream will only be achieved if the Liliwenos will continue to conceive a positive vision and aim high.

But for now, what they need is to be more wary of their progress. They cannot stop now for they have already attained certain degree of confidence in themselves and in what they do. What they have started had given them enough trust in their people and in their leaders as well.

Nothing is impossible now… for the impossibilities will surely lead them to work harder and take their struggles in stride.

Ultimately, the “First Liliw Tsinelas Festival” did not only unveil the Liliwenos’ exceptional handiwork and unique creation, but rather their enthusiasm and vivacity. This move had opened new doors and great opportunities for them to use their resources to the fullest. And the success for the said event had not only made the Liliwenos proud but have given them more reasons to work harder…dream bigger…and achieve better!
